Established in 1996, About Staffing is a BBB Accredited Business and a proud member of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.Our highly reputable and long standing client is looking to bring on a number of Demolition Labourers to assist with the demolition of a large commercial building in NE Calgary.Job ID: 42581Job Type: TemporaryCategory: IndustrialLocation: Calgary, AlbertaThe ideal candidates will posses physical strength and stamina, strong attention to detail, have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work well as part of a team.This is a temporary contract consisting of approximately a month of work. Candidates will be required to commit to the full length of the assignment and will need to be able to comfortably lift 50lbs on a repetitive basis.Duties and Responsibilities:The key job functions are:

• Preparing the worksite by removing all furniture before demolition begins
• Safely and efficiently assist with tearing down the structure
• Remove debris, rubble and other materials from the work site
• Operate basic hand and power tools
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times

Qualifications:

• Steel toed boots (CSA approved)
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle are a strong asset

Experience:

• Experience working in a demolition related role is a huge asset

• Ability to take direction and use initiative
• Eager to work

Base Salary: $20 per hourWork Hours:

• 9:00am xe2x80x93 5:00pm
• Monday xe2x80x93 Friday
• 23rd xe2x80x93 26th off

Additional Notes:

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
