From our roots as a family business, we are known today as Nella Cutlery and Food Equipment Inc. We import, manufacture and distribute a full line of brand name, professional food equipment to our clients throughout the hospitality industry, which range from restaurants, hotels, institutional kitchens, supermarkets, bakeries, etc. Along with the thousands of kitchen items we supply at our retail store and showroom, we also specialize in custom fabrication, professional installations and knife sharpening services.

The Opportunity:

Nella is currently looking for a full-time

Delivery Driver

to join our team based out of the

Mississauga location (1255 Fewster Drive).

Reporting to the

Knife Service Manager,

and collaborating with

the Knife Service Department,

you will be responsible for delivering and exchanging boxes of knives to our customers. In particular, the

Delivery Driver

will load, transport and deliver knives to customers, ensuring prompt and efficient deliveries, and excellent customer service.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Packing, delivering and transportation of goods to customers throughout the GTA, using a cube-van Ensuring prompt delivery and effective customer service when making routes Accurate completion of paperwork for both customer and company Providing friendly and courteous communications with customers and clients Executing vehicle inspections and completion of vehicle maintenance checks Daily completion of MTO logs Driving company vehicle in a cautious and responsible manner while adhering to all road safety regulations, the Ontario Highway Act, along with company Health and Safety procedures and/or policies Maintaining the general cleanliness of company vehicle to ensure sufficient driving conditions Other related job duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements:

Possess a "G" Class License and clean driving abstract (Driver's License and 3-Year Uncertified Driver's Record documentation required) Previous experience as a delivery driver, or similar role (2+ years required) Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (required) Comfortable and familiar driving routes within the GTA Demonstrates a positive attitude, professional appearance and is customer-service oriented (required) Reliable and possesses a strong work ethic (required) Strong communication skills - both verbal and written (required) Effectively able to work as an independent and as part of a team (required) Flexible schedule and availability - 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or as business needs demand (required)
