We are seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and effective communication skills. The Van Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the flow of operations within our warehouse.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Perform heavy lifting and moving of materials as required. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Operate forklifts when necessary to facilitate loading and unloading processes.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly. Experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.
