West Coast Wild Foods Ltd.

is a growing local wild foods company based in Burnaby, BC. We are looking for a new addition to our team, full-time starting immediately until end of December.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Read delivery instructions carefully especially regarding specific location drop offs. Provide our customers with a great experience when they interact with you. Complete driver checklist accurately and legibly. Have the ability to complete tasks with limited supervision. Help our warehouse team to prepare and verify correct orders before loading into the vehicle to deliver. Maintain delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness. Organize delivery invoices and receive payments from COD customers. Plan the drive accordingly to meet the cut off times. Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager. Prepare orders, handle and package orders accurately and efficiently Shipping and receiving, loading/unloading products Maintain accurate inventory, organize stock and keep records Work in a variety of temperature areas (warehouse area, walk-in cooler, freezer) Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and team members Adhere to company food safety standards and warehouse guidelines Opportunities for career growth within our organization

Qualifications & Requirements/skills:

Class 5 Driver's License with clean drivers abstract. Ability to comfortably drive a 3-tonne truck and delivery van around the Lower Mainland. Good organizational and time management skills. Willingness to work on weekends and flexible hours as required. Take initiative and be willing to assist others, as necessary. Complete driver checklist accurately and legibly. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to carry food delivery bags to various locations. Driving manual transmission is an asset. Ability to work well with a team and have good coordination skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Have a desire to work in a fun, upbeat and creative environment.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
