Progressive Cabinets & Millwork, a member of the Cherubini Group of Companies, is looking for a General Labourer to join our delivery crew in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

This is a hybrid labour and driver role. The successful candidate must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license, be competent and comfortable driving a 5-ton truck, and may be asked to provide proof of driving experience.

SUMMARY

As a member of our cabinet delivery team, you will be responsible for the safe transport and delivery of cabinets from our plant in Burnside to various sites throughout HRM and beyond.

JOB DUTIES

Safely and efficiently transport and deliver cabinet and millwork components from Progressive's plant in Burnside to various job sites. While the majority of deliveries are within HRM, there may be occasional trips throughout the Atlantic Provinces. Loading, unloading, and packing product. Use of pallet jacks, dollies, and associated equipment to assist in the lifting and moving of materials. Immediately report any damage or deficiencies to the Shipping & Receiving Manager and/or the assigned Project Manager. Work closely with Progressive's installation team to ensure product is delivered as scheduled. Maintain a clean work environment -- both the job site and your truck!

REQUIREMENTS

Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.

MUST have experience driving and navigating a 5-ton box truck.

Previous labour and delivery experience considered an asset. Willingness to do repetitive tasks and manual labour. Strong desire to be an active participant in our safety culture.
