Job Description
Driver Responsibilities and Duties
Professional interactions with businesses for the purpose of taking orders and organizing pick up times
Picking up and delivering items to customers in a timely, professional manner Verify all items are accurate to the order placed before leaving establishment Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of personal vehicle being used for delivery purposes Maintain professionalism while providing efficient, quality service(s) to establishments and customers Establish and maintain outstanding relations with customers Communicate professionally and efficiently with dispatch.
Driver Skills and Qualification
Valid G Class driver's license Own and operate reliable vehicle Able to work weekends, evenings and statutory holidays Strong time-management and customer service skills Ability to multi-task Ability to lift and carry up to 35lbs Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry items for scheduled shifts Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as a team Smart Serve Certification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $17.20-$48.47 per hour
Experience:
delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Class G Licence (required) Smart Serve (preferred)
Work Location: On the road
