Overview
MJ Roofing is seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to various project sites while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. The Delivery Driver will also assist in loading and unloading products, making this position vital to our operations.
Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport materials to designated locations. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Communicate with Warehouse Manager, Operations Managers, and Site Foremen regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including moving items and organizing inventory.
Experience
Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including forklift operation, is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading products.
