Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload freight, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness. Operate forklifts or heavy equipment when necessary for loading and unloading freight.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred. Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance. Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Pay: $21.57-$23.03 per hour
