Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to company policies and maintaining a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience driving a 5-ton truck, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a 5-ton truck for pick-ups and deliveries in a safe and efficient manner. Load, unload, and reorganize truck cargo using an electric pallet jack and power tailgate. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it remains in proper working order. Pick up and drop off supplies for ensuring prompt service. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and assist with other duties as required.

Core Competencies & Skills:

Clean driver's abstract with a valid driver's license. Minimum of 2 years of experience driving 5-ton trucks (or similar vehicles). Excellent time management and organizational skills. A strong commitment to environmental sustainability. High level of attention to detail with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong sense of accountability and dependability. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work weekends as required.
