starting at $21.25 + peak season bonus 2$/hour (October 20th to December 14th)

Work schedule:

Monday to Friday (Average of 40 hours per week)

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Delivery Driver to join our team in St. John's, Canada. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Previous delivery or driving experience preferred Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong navigation abilities and familiarity with St. John's and surrounding areas Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory Physical stamina to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in using GPS devices and mobile applications for route planning Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed Commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required for larger vehicles
