Delivery Driver

Duties:

- Safely and efficiently transport goods and products to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo from delivery vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the warehouse and logistics manager
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts, manifests, and logs, are completed accurately and on time
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and general maintenance.

-Working in Warehouse and Running forklift when not on deliveries.

-Clearing snow and doing vehicle maintenance in winter time when slower delivery periods.

Skills:

- Class 1A license mandatory and freight and handling experience
- Forklift operation skills are an asset; forklift training and certification is a requirement

- Able to provide great customer service and communicate in a professional manner with our customers.

- River Valley Ag Services Ltd is a farm retail business and an understanding of farming and agriculture is an asset

- Commercial driving experience
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- Basic automotive repair knowledge; mechanical knowledge an asset
