Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our Logistics team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the secure and timely delivery of appliances to both residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate takes pride in handling products with care to prevent damage and consistently follows all traffic and safety regulations. As a representative of Midland Appliance, a professional and courteous demeanor must be maintained when interacting with customers and third-party partners.

Responsibilities:

Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, in full compliance with traffic laws and regulations. Use handheld technology to access delivery instructions and optimize routes for efficiency. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including timing, locations, and product details. Load and unload appliances with care to ensure products remain in excellent condition during transit. Provide professional and courteous service to customers and maintain clear communication with team members. Adhere to all company safety protocols, standards, and operational procedures. Other duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license (Class 5 or Class 7). Clear driving record. Ability to lift a minimum of 50-75lbs on a regular basis. Ability to navigate GPS. Strong time management skills. Strong communication skills. Strong customer service skills. Flexibility with shift changes and overtime requirements as per operational needs.

Experience:

A minimum of 6 months experience driving a 5-ton truck.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
