Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care of items. Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered during transport. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks when necessary.

Experience

Minimum 1 year driving experience (non-commercial) with valid class 5 driver's license. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Customer service experience is essential for interacting with clients effectively. Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics and inventory processes. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.
