We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations around the Greater Ottawa Area.
Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
Experience
Experience in driving a cargo van with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated.
Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is a plus.
Familiarity with freight handling procedures is beneficial.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing delivery schedules effectively.
