Position Summary

We're hiring a full-time Labourer / Delivery Driver who is self-motivated, physically fit, and experienced in local deliveries. You will be responsible for transporting materials from lumber yard to job sites, with frequent physical labour (including hand-bombing) required.

Responsibilities

Operate a single-axle straight truck, flat-deck, or tandem truck (depending on license) Deliver lumber and construction materials to job sites across Calgary and nearby areas Perform hot shot deliveries when needed Unload materials at job site (by hand or with forklift assistance; all materials loaded by forklift at lumber yard)
Communicate effectively with the team and customers Follow safety procedures and traffic regulations Keep accurate delivery records

Requirements

Class 5

driver's license (for straight truck/flat-deck/cube-van) OR

Class 3

driver's license with experience operating a

tandem with Moffett

(truck-mounted forklift -- not warehouse forklift)

Clean driving record

(must provide a claims experience letter covering the last 3 years)

Minimum 3 years

of commercial driving/delivery experience Able to

lift 50 lbs+

and perform physically demanding work Familiarity with Calgary and surrounding areas is a strong asset Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
