Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and efficiency. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for operating various types of vehicles and handling freight, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients upon delivery.

Skills

• Experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type.
• Heavy equipment operation skills are beneficial for handling various types of freight. (Deliveries include large appliances weighing up to 650 lbs) (Shared weight)
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures ensures efficient delivery processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
