Then UPS needs you! POSITION DETAILS: \xc2\xb7 Seasonal position for November - December 2023 (possibly into January 2024) \xc2\xb7 Walkers will assist our drivers with the delivery of parcels. Walkers will meet drivers on location and deliver packages by foot. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES \xc2\xb7 Delivering and picking up UPS packages efficiently and effectively \xc2\xb7 Learning and properly executing UPS safe work methods \xc2\xb7 Complying with UPS appearance guidelines EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE \xc2\xb7 Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a fast paced environment \xc2\xb7 Available to work daily, Monday through Friday; flexible \xc2\xb7 Able to work under minimal supervision \xc2\xb7 Strong customer service skills Scheduled Shift: 3-5 hours per shift, start times vary *Driver Assistant will be required to work five days a week with slight changes in shift hours. Shift hours may vary due to the changes in package volume. * The Driver Assistant works with the full time delivery driver. The Driver Assistant is responsible for delivery of parcels in a defined area within a set time \xe2\x80\x93 on foot by means of a hand cart. Requirements Monday to Friday - 5 days per week (3 - 5 hours per shift) Willing to walk 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 hours outside to deliver parcels in a defined area Wage: $17.00/hr ($16.65/hr + hourly bonus $0.35/hr during peak season). Part-time hours: 15-25 per week Job Types: Temporary, Part-time
