Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the delivery of goods to customers, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to support the delivery driver in loading, unloading, and transporting items while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading products from the vehicle. Ensure that all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with the driver and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns during deliveries. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to maintain safety. Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and delivery area. Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed (if certified). Support moving activities for items within the warehouse or at customer locations.

Responsibilities:

Must be enrolled in Post Secondary program, returning to school in September

Deliver and merchandise products to our customers across all our distribution channels, in a safe timely manner Collect empty kegs and returns Lead proper FIFO stock rotation Upload and Offload delivery vehicles Use online technology and delivery applications during delivery activities Demonstrate strong customer relations and problem resolution skills Job Qualifications/Requirements: Possessing an energetic, positive, personable attitude and a love for craft beer is a bonus! 19+ years of age Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. on regular basis Ability to work well with others in a team environment, and comfortable to work independently Compensation and Benefits: 16.00-$18 /hr Brewery Perks Quidi Vidi Brewery values diversity and inclusion and encourages all qualified candidates to apply.
