Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Delivery Driver

to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of

Downtown Toronto routes

, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. This role involves delivering air filters to clients, managing paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving and vehicle maintenance:

Safely operate a delivery vehicle (car, truck, or van) and perform regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Loading and Unloading:

Handle, load, and unload products and packages, ensuring they are organized for safe transport. Some roles may require assembly or installation of delivered items.

Route Planning:

Plan and navigate efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.

Record Keeping:

Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any issues encountered.

Customer service:

Interact with customers, provide receipts, collect payments, and handle delivery-related issues professionally.

Communication:

Communicate with dispatchers and customers via mobile devices or phones to stay updated on delivery status and issues.

Adherence to rules:

Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

Valid

G-class driver's license

with a

clean driving record

. Minimum

2-3 years of commercial delivery experience

(experience navigating downtown Toronto is

required

). Strong understanding of

Toronto traffic patterns, loading zones, and delivery logistics

. Ability to lift up to

50 lbs

and perform physically active work. Punctual, dependable, and professional in appearance and communication. Basic knowledge of using GPS and delivery tracking systems.

Assets (Nice to Have):

Experience driving small box trucks, cargo vans, or cube vans. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one). Familiarity with HVAC or building maintenance supplies.

Schedule & Compensation:

Full-time, Monday-Friday

(occasional Saturdays may be required). Competitive hourly wage, based on experience. * Benefits after probation period (health, dental, and vacation).
