Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to operate different types of vehicles and equipment. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload freight, ensuring all items are secured properly during transit. Perform routine inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist with automotive repair tasks when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and forklift certification is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations effectively. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and customers.
