URGENT HIRING! Job Title: Delivery Driver Company: [ JKM COURIERS ] Location: [Dryden,ON] Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time PAY: $1000-$1200 per week Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our distribution center to customers\' locations while maintaining a high level of customer service and adhering to safety and delivery protocols. Responsibilities: Safely operate company vehicles (e.g., vans, trucks) in accordance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit. Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet customer delivery schedules and maximize productivity. Verify orders and invoices to ensure accurate delivery of products to customers. Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving any delivery-related issues. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, such as checking oil, fuel, and tire pressure. Maintain delivery records, including delivery times, distances, and quantities delivered. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly to the supervisor. Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing seatbelts, using required personal protective equipment, and following company safety guidelines. Assist with warehouse and inventory tasks during downtime. Qualifications: Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus but not required. Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes. Ability to lift and carry heavy items and packages. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements: Delivery drivers may be required to lift heavy packages, stand, walk, and drive for extended periods. Candidates should be in good physical condition.
