Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills and a commitment to customer service, making sure that all deliveries are handled with care and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload freight, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Handle any issues or concerns that may arise during the delivery process promptly and professionally. Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
