We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team at Mile Stone Drywall Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to deliver supplies on time, as well as the ability to handle freight. The Delivery Driver needs to have valid Class 5 Alberta License. This job will be to pick drywall supplies and drop it off at told job site by the supervisor.
Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
Load and unload freight, should be able to help loading and unloading as well
Conduct routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
Assist with basic automotive repairs when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability.
Experience
Previous experience in commercial driving is will be appreciable, must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Familiarity with freight handling and logistics operations is a plus.
Basic knowledge of automotive repair can be beneficial for maintaining delivery vehicles.
