Role Overview

Reporting to the Delivery & Dispatch Lead, the delivery driver is responsible for ensuring that WCD customers receive consistently high level of Customer Services. A keen eye for detail and a passion for getting the job done safely every time will lead to success in this position.



Duties include (but are not limited to):



Driving. You'll be responsible for regular delivery routes in company van. Class 5 license required. The ideal candidate would be comfortable driving in city traffic as well as driving on the highway. Operate vehicle in accordance with all Alberta traffic safety laws Routes. Your regular routes will include routes in Calgary and the surrounding area. Customer Service. You will interact and build rapport with WCD customers during deliveries. Obtain delivery confirmation from customer Shipping and Receiving. You will confirm delivery routes and addresses. Perform item reconciliation to ensure all items have been accounted for. Completion of daily / weekly vehicle inspections. Load and unload vans, ensuring all loads are properly secured before driving Complete all tasks in accordance to specified safety practices (Properly lifting, appropriate PPE. Etc.)

The Ideal Candidate will possess the following skills / attributes:

Strong organization and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs A passion for providing strong customer service Strong fluency in written and spoken English Show up for work with a positive attitude Valid Class 5 Driver's license Clean drivers abstract
