Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting construction safety equipment (ie. fence, posts, debris netting) to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including daily logs and receipts. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery services. Skilled forklift operation for loading and unloading freight. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation can be beneficial. Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for performing minor vehicle maintenance tasks. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. A valid G driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
