As we're growing aggressively we are always looking for talented and enthusiastic people to join our team. The incumbent will have to take up the following duties.
Summary of Role
The Driver is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner
Key Areas of ResponsibilityPrepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, may assist with picking parts for orders Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer and have customer sign-off on delivery Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensures proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times Checks-In with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory May assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves Maintain the "Never Say No" attitude/mantra and be the Ambassador for the Bumper to Bumper Brand Other duties as assigned


Expertise & Essential Skills:
Education, Experience and Technical skillsHigh School Diploma completed or equivalent experience Must have a driver's license and a clean driving record 1-3 years of experience in a similar role preferred Experience in retail, wholesale distribution and the automotive industry is a definite asset Experience working with hand trucks or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods

Soft Skills and CompetenciesMust be available to work flexible hours and/or on call as needed Be courteous and eager in addition of having a good sense of responsibility Possesses high interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain working relationships Successful completion of WHMIS and TDG training

Physical DemandsExtensive sitting, standing, walking, pushing and reaching Need full range of motion for reaching, bending and stooping Lifting of heavy equipment of up to 50 pounds May work outside and be exposed to weather Exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust
