Growth and Development Opportunities

As a seasoned driving professional with a passion for customer service, you are confident navigating Winnipeg in a larger truck, as well as tricky customer yard and dock layouts. You are someone who enjoys working independently, while also having a teamwork mentality. You don't mind spending some time off the truck to assist with our logistics and warehousing operations. You're no stranger to hard physical work (you enjoy it, actually!) and prefer to be outside and moving rather than at a desk or in a chair. You are recognized as a great communicator. You also like to take ownership of your role, and always look for opportunities to do things more efficiently. You appreciate being a part of an awesome team, and you pitch in to help them wherever it's needed. The words 'that's not my job' isn't part of your vocabulary, but 'customer first' is. Finally, you're flexible and can attend to emergency calls after hours, as required, because the products you deliver are critical for the well-being of your clients.

As a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Representative, you will:

Deliver and pick up cylinders, medical equipment and freight for customers and patients. Work with logistics to identify, create and adhere to a regular delivery schedule to optimize route requirements, customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies; amend delivery route to meet urgent deliveries. Monitor inventory and maintain proper truck stock for efficient replenishment and resupply of key customer account sites. Operate handheld scanner to ensure accurate inventory control and invoicing for product deliveries. Ensure that all warehouse activities are performed as required by our standard operating procedures and in accordance with safety requirements, but always seeking and proposing new methods with a mindset of continuous improvement. Reprocess home sleep testing devices and CPAP devices. Provide back-up support for other logistics areas (including other business units) as required, including making compressed gas cylinder deliveries to various customer sites. Carry emergency after-hours cell phone for on-call work deliveries, as required. Have your Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2-years previous experience in a delivery driving position or another relevant role. Have previous experience operating warehouse equipment; familiarity with the requirements of transporting dangerous goods (TDG) and WHMIS 2015 is considered an asset. Be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling weights of up to 75 lbs, as well as confident maneuvering equipment up to 1500 lbs (with proper lifting/pushing apparatus and techniques). Be comfortable with handheld scanning technology, and familiar with the Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel). Have a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver's Licence with a clear driving abstract (required). Have your air brakes designation or willingness to obtain. You will also have a strong knowledge of city routes, as well as outside city limits.
At Innovair Group, we recognize the profound impact our people have in fostering a work environment that is inclusive, innovative and ensures a sense of belonging for all. As such, we are intentional and self-reflective about the team we are building by seeking talented individuals who bring both incredible skills and a desire to support the success of others. We strive to create an equitable and accommodative recruitment process. We welcome all applications from individuals who would contribute to further diversification of our company. If you require accommodation during any stage of the recruitment process, please let our recruitment team know.

We thank all applicants for their interest, but only selected candidates will be contacted for an interview. Short-listed candidates may be asked to take a physical capabilities, psychometric and/or a relevant duties test.
