We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate to join our team. This dual role involves driving a box truck to deliver goods to our customers while also assisting in warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, have experience in delivery driving, and be comfortable with heavy lifting and warehouse tasks.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a box truck for deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at customer locations.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and physically fit
Load and unload products from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
Assist with inventory management in the warehouse, including receiving shipments and organizing stock.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Requirements
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients during deliveries.
Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in loading/unloading goods and inventory management.
Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack; certification is a plus but not required.
Comfortable with heavy lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
