Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to excellent customer service, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with moving and delivering goods.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to designated locations. Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and inventory counts. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading processes and inventory management. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at delivery sites.

Skills

Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Experience in warehouse operations, including familiarity with inventory management systems. Proven customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to meeting customer needs. Commercial driving experience preferred, with a valid driver's license appropriate for vehicle operation. Class 5 or better. Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus but not required. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safe handling of products during deliveries. Experience in moving or logistics is beneficial for understanding the delivery process effectively.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
