The Delivery Director provides leadership to the TI&I Data Governance Team. This role provides consistent support that aligns to audit, compliance, governance, risk management, reporting, communications, and administrative responsibility to the business strategy and objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible to manage the delivery and strategy work between Enterprise Data & Records Management Office (EDRMO) and TI&I Data Governance.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

  • Provide key Business Management support for the portfolio: this will cover such key activities such as ongoing regulatory controls and standards, reporting, dashboard reporting, establishing key operational goals, creation and delivery of any communication
  • Support the creation of the business case, preparation of the project budget and the roadmap, to support business case approval.
  • Manage and monitor the project delivery including the timely completion of the deliverables, resource management, budget management, risk and issue management.
  • Support the implementation of Data Governance and Management technologies.
  • Monitor data elements to ensure integrity of data shared internal or external to the organization.
  • Oversee Project (PMO) Governance activities across the portfolio. This will include PMO status reporting portfolio metrics and dashboards, financial tracking, and training.
  • Conduct strategic and high tactical business planning and return on investment analysis.
  • Oversee establishing portfolio strategic direction, process improvement initiatives, project/program inter-dependencies management, and program or project management standards, practices and procedures.
  • Direct, motivate, develop and manage performance of a team.
  • Coach team and individuals by providing feedback and development opportunities such as job shadowing, special projects, and training.
  • Manage performance by providing fair and accurate formal and informal feedback, identifying and removing obstacles to performance and by explaining how performance expectations align with business priorities.

  • Planning - Tactical, Strategic--Ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1 - 2 years) and strategic (3 - 5 years) planning in support of the business plan.

  • Consulting--Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques and roles and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients within and outside own area.
