We're currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Delivery Associates (Drivers), operating commercial 5-ton trucks and delivering goods to consumer, retail, and industrial customers in the Greater Vancouver Regional District and throughout the

Position Overview:

As a Delivery Associate, you'll play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of furniture and appliances to various customer locations, including customer homes, retail outlets, and multi-family construction sites. You'll be responsible for operating a commercial 5-ton truck, adhering to safety standards, and providing exceptional customer service to client warehouses at pickup and customer recipients at delivery.

Responsibilities:

Operate a commercial 5-ton truck and conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Demonstrate familiarity with driver routing apps and mobile workflows to ensure smooth communication with dispatch and accurate delivery execution. Safely load and secure furniture and appliances for transportation, utilizing provided equipment and tools. Deliver goods to consumer, retail, and industrial customers within assigned route schedules and time windows. Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot route issues and optimize delivery efficiency. Maintain accurate delivery records using smartphone apps and obtain proof-of-delivery signatures from customers on paperwork. Adhere to National Safety Code standards and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Demonstrate safe lifting techniques when handling heavy delivery items together with other team members and being able to operate hand and power tools.

Requirements:

Valid class 5 Driver's license.

Minimum one year of verifiable commercial driving experience

, with vehicles similar to a 5-ton truck, listed on the resume. Qualifying commercial driver's abstract. Ability to lift heavy items and operate basic hand and power tools. Basic personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel toe work shoes (

6-inch ankle required

), hard hat, and hi-vis vest. Comfort using smartphone-based driver apps for routing, delivery records, and communication with dispatch (e.g., DispatchTrack, Omnitracs)
