The Stevens Company Limited is pleased to be hiring for this exciting new role. The ideal candidate will be an Ambassador of our company, delivering an exceptional customer experience, always representing our Company's core values. They must be reliable and hard-working and willing to take on tasks with a smile. They will be responsible to operate a 5 ton Hino and deliver medical supplies and equipment to various locations. This role will require some furniture and equipment delivery which entails white-glove installation & set up. A strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and effective communication with customers and colleagues is a must.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely reporting of any issues.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license.
- Consideration will be first given to those with experience in commercial driving and deliveries.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Must have a clean driving record and pass background checks as required by company policy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
