Delivery & Installation Specialist

Primary Duties:

Delivering and installing health care beds into retirement communities and private homes. Assembling, packaging and servicing health care beds and accessories. Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning rental products that were previously used. Re-conditioning used products for future sale or rental. Assisting customers with technical product support and requests. Track all in-and-out inventory using product specific serial numbers.

Secondary Duties:

Assemble components utilizing appropriate tools, equipment and material in order to meet product specifications. Responsible for set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work-area. Interface with customers, accurately diagnose problems, and ensure that they receive correct service parts in a timely manner. Prepare and handle shipping documents (packing slips, return authorizations, etc.). Complete other tasks as assigned.

Required Competencies, Skills and Education:

Education: Minimum completion of high school education or equivalent. Post-secondary education an asset. Mechanical: Ability to use a variety of tools including manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses, and measuring and cutting devices. Technical: MS Office skills (Excel, Word) an asset. Communication: Very personable with customers. Strong oral communication is required to effectively converse directly and in person with customers. High degree of professionalism while delivering a luxury product. Organizational: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, time management, communication. Physical: Ability to lift/carry and deliver heavy (>200lb) health care equipment. Driving: Valid Ontario G driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to drive for hours at a time.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,375.00-$50,200.00 per year
