Fairway Market -

is a locally owned and operated grocery chain on Vancouver Island. Fairway Market's has 9 grocery stores and has been serving Vancouver Island for over 63 years.

Position Summary -

Fairway Market is looking for someone who is pro active with innovative new ideas to develop a successful location for the company.

Location: Oak Bay Ave

Positions:

Full time: 32-40 hrs per week & Part time 20-32 hrs

Deli -

This person must be a team player and support the deli team to operate a successful department.
The successful candidate must be able to have these qualities:

Must be able to perform the various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging, and operating counters. Manage product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilage's. Ensure that products are properly labeled with prices and dates. Interact politely with clients. Operate all food preparation machines and equipment. Receive, unload and stock the food items. Ensure that facility is maintained neat, clean and safe. Strong work ethics - go getter - get things done. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Follow all store, municipal, provincial and federal rules and regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
