Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli/Fish Counter Associate to join our team. Opening and Closing Cashier, entering inventory and stocking shelves. Good part time hours from 3-6pm and full days Thursday. Food Handlers License required.

Duties

Prepare and package deli products, including meats, cheeses and sandwiches, ensuring freshness and quality. Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, adhering to all food safety regulations. Perform meat cutting and butchery tasks as required, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department.

Skills

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred. Strong skills in food preparation, including butchery and meat cutting techniques. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Kitchen experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with kitchen equipment and procedures. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
