Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and salads, adhering to food safety guidelines. Operate the Micros POS system for efficient order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with a friendly demeanor. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking items as needed. Upsell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions are required.
