Position Overview

Truewaste is currently hiring a

D-Class Truck Driver

to handle daily waste collection and transportation using company vehicles. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and customer-focused with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

Valid

D-Class license

with a clean driving record. Minimum [3 years] experience driving D-Class vehicles (required). Knowledge of safe driving practices and provincial regulations. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions. Strong communication and time-management skills. Experience in waste or recycling industry is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

Operate D-Class trucks to collect and transport waste and recycling materials. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Follow designated routes and schedules while maintaining efficiency and safety. Interact professionally with customers, ensuring quality service. Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations. Keep trucks clean and properly maintained. Accurately complete required paperwork or digital logs.

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
