Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a passion for hospitality and the ability to manage guest relations effectively while maintaining a smooth flow of operations in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and explain daily specials, answering any questions guests may have. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, including reservations and guest requests. Assist in managing waitlists during peak hours, keeping guests informed of wait times. Uphold high standards of customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous Host/Host or food service experience preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with POS systems such Micros POS is a plus. Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is advantageous. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated phone etiquette and professionalism when interacting with guests. A passion for hospitality and providing an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
