Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team at CHARCUT Downtown! The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations or inquiries. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Monitor dining area for cleanliness and guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly. Assist in managing wait times effectively, keeping guests informed of their status.

Qualifications

Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing an excellent dining experience. Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant etiquette is beneficial. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a busy environment. Pay: $15.00-$24.87 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
