Dog Jogs is one of the largest pet care companies in the Edmonton Region, and we’re looking for dedicated animal lovers to join our team. Our Dog Jogger positions are a unique combination of high-level customer service for both our human and animal clients. In this role, you’ll get to meet some of Edmonton’s cutest pups and cats, and know you’re helping their humans by caring for their fur-babies during the day. If you have a flexible schedule, love animals, and are able to jog- This position is for you. Your shifts will involve:

• Driving to clients' homes to care for their pets.
• Jogging or walking a dog, Visiting cats
• You will also be responsible for scooping litter boxes, refreshing water bowls, feeding and administering medication as required.
• Pretending you're a professional pet photographer on each visit. Our clients love getting pics of their pets, and so do our social media followers- We hope you like taking selfies, videos and filling up your phone with cute pet pictures!
• Sending detailed updates to the Pet Parents via our free app with some of those amazing photos you took.
• A mix of dog jogs (yes, actually jogging!), walks and cat visits during workdays.
• Taking over our Instagram stories to share your day as a Dog Jogger.
• Assisting with other tasks when needed such as: blog writing, content creation for social media, putting up posters, handing out information about Dog Jogs within the communities you walk in etc.

Did we mention this job requires you to play with puppies and kittens too? Some basic job requirements: Here is what we ask of you:

• A minimum availability of 3 days a week between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday plus one weekend each month.

• Canadian citizens or legally authorized to work in Canada for at least the next 12 months
• Able to commit for a minimum of 12 months
• Over 18 years of age (due to insurance)
• Have a smartphone with data
• Own your own reliable vehicle and be comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
• The ability to jog 6-10km in an hour (the average dog jog), PLUS walking 3-15km for the rest of your workday with the dogs.
• Able to provide a current and clean police record check
• Able to commit to this position for 12 months from the date of hire
• Power through all types of weather include some extreme cold/hot temperatures (under safe procedures)

How Much Can I Make? Our Dog Joggers can make upwards of $800.00 a month while filling their dog, cat, puppy and kitten-cuddling needs each week! The more you work the bigger your paycheque. Starting wage is $15 an hour + client tips.
