Yuill Learn and Grow Childcare Centre- Will provide high quality childcare services in a warm, supportive, and safe environment for children as well as for families looking for socialization opportunities for their children. We will provide a variety of learning experiences both indoors and outdoors to enhance the child\xe2\x80\x99s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. We are looking to hire a qualified daycare Supervisor to manage our day-to-day operations and establish and sustain a positive learning environment for children. The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience in managing all aspects of a daycare center, as well as strong leadership skills. You should display a friendly demeanor, have a love for children, and strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment for both children and educators. Job Details Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 Job Type: Full time / Permanent Shift & Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends Hiring Date: May 1 / 2023 Location: Tignish Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children, staff, and parents.
• Manage and coordinate curricula with staff that complies with provincial requirements.
• Oversee staff and ensure appropriate ratios of staff per children is maintained.
• Ensure that center facilities are safe for children and comply with laws and regulations.
• Evaluate and help with the purchase materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Manage and support staffs and promote their professional development.
• Interview, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements.
• Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on daycare standards and procedures.
• Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and the center\xe2\x80\x99s policies.

. Develop and facilitate a marketing and communications plan. Licence/Certification:

• Early Childhood Educator Supervisor Certificate through the Department of Education and Lifelong Learning (required)

Requirements: CPR and First aid certificates. Food Safety course-certificate. Current Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: From $18.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement:
