(childminding service) is where creativity, laughter, and adventure fill every day!
We are looking for mature, enthusiastic and experienced
Supervisor
to lead our incredible Hoot Crew minding our youngest members -
children aged 2 to 6
- while their families enjoy time on the slopes at
Caledon
.
The ideal candidate will have
Early Childhood Education
(or equivalent experience) and a background in working with children in childcare centers or similar environments.
This is a
part-time weekend position
(
Saturdays and Sundays
9:00 - 4:00)
and
availability over
Christmas Break, Family Day
and some March Break (if required) is a must.
A
perfect opportunity
for a college or university student
enrolled in an ECE
(or like) program who would like to gain experience in a childminding setting or for a
(retired/part-time/substitute) ECE or Teacher.
You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of activities for our youngest members. Activities must be stimulating and safe while encouraging children to participate. This position assumes responsibility for providing guidance and recommendations, supervising part-time staff, scheduling, evaluating and reporting on the program.
Our ideal candidate:
Have a post-secondary education/or currently in college/university.
Previous experience working with children 2 - 6 years as an ECE, Teacher, etc.
A thorough understanding of best practices in supervising children.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365/SharePoint and comfort working with databases or learning a new system.
Superior organizational and time management skills.
Excellent punctuality and dependability.
is certified in First Aid Training and CPR.
has a current Vulnerable Sector Screening Police Check.
Must be available to work weekends, Christmas Break, Family Day Weekend, and March Break.
Outstanding interpersonal/ Customer Service skills.
Creative and energetic with a zest for life.
A reliable method of transportation (we are not on a bus route)
