About Us The Pooches Playhouse is a trusted dog daycare and boarding facility dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment for every pup. We're looking for a dependable, animal-loving team member to join us as a Daycare & Overnight Attendant. Position Summary The Daycare & Overnight Attendant is responsible for supervising playgroups, maintaining a clean and safe facility, and ensuring all dogs receive top-quality care during the day and overnight stays. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with dogs and thrives in an active, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Supervise dogs in group play settings, ensuring safe and positive interactions Observe and report any behavioral or health concerns Provide feedings, administer medications (as directed), and ensure dogs' needs are met Clean and sanitize play areas and common spaces Maintain accurate notes on each dog's activities and care Monitor overnight guests, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their stay Assist with drop-off and pick-up procedures and communicate with clients as needed Requirements Must love dogs and feel comfortable working with all breeds and sizes Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong attention to detail and safety Ability to handle physical tasks (standing, walking, cleaning, lifting up to 50 lbs) Availability for a mix of daytime, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts Previous experience in a dog daycare, kennel, or animal care setting is an asset (training provided) Why Work With Us Supportive, team-focused environment Hands-on experience working with dogs every day Opportunities for growth and skill development A fun, rewarding role surrounded by happy pups!
