We're seeking a Canine Attendant to join the Canvasback Canine Club. This role is crucial for ensuring the well-being and happiness of our treasured furry guests and their families.

What we are looking for in a Canine Attendant:

We are looking for individuals who embody patience, a calm demeanor, and meticulous attention to detail. You thrive on multitasking and are physically capable of tasks such as bending, lifting, and using stairs comfortably. Comfort and confidence around dogs are essential, and prior experience in animal care is a definite asset. As a forward-thinking team player, you possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.

You have experience and a real passion for dogs

Every day, you will be focused on providing the best care possible to our extended dog family. From the nitty gritty administrative requirements like prepping meals and meds that ensure the health and safety of the pups in our care, to providing the fun stay enhancements including walks and cuddle sessions that help pups feel at home.

Some things you will be Responsible for:

Ensuring the exceptional care of our dogs, including feeding, medication administration, and attending to their grooming and potty needs. Enhancing their stay with enriching activities such as walks and cuddle sessions to promote their physical and emotional well-being. Assisting in doggie daycare operations, facilitating group socialization, and monitoring dog interactions.

What does success look like in this role??

Ensuring that every dog in our care returns home happy, healthy, and well-cared-for. Completing daily feeding and medication administration accurately and on schedule, guaranteeing each dog's health and well-being. Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the dogs through diligent cleaning and upkeep. Communicating effectively with team members and dog owners to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise. Learning all of our systems, policies, and decision-making process so you can contribute to our goal of being the best care facility ever.
