Daycare Van Driver

, who will also work in the classroom as an

Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 1)

.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate the daycare van for morning, afternoon, and school pick-ups/drop-offs. Ensure children's safety and well-being during transport. Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain cleanliness. Support classroom activities and daily routines as an

ECE Level 1

. Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate learning activities. Supervise and engage children in a safe, positive, and inclusive environment. Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and staff. Adhere to daycare policies, licensing regulations, and health & safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Required:

Alberta Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 1 Certification. Valid

Class 4 Driver's License

(or willingness to obtain before employment). Clean Driver's Abstract. Current First Aid/CPR Certification. Clear Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector.

Preferred Assets:

Previous childcare and/or driving experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, reliability, and a passion for working with children.
