Job Description
BrainiaX Early Learning and Childcare is currently seeking a
reliable, caring, and responsible Van Driver
to join our team at ourDesrochers Center
, located on the south side of Edmonton, AB.We are looking for a
safety-conscious and child-friendly individual
who will ensure the safe and timely transportation of children to and from school. The ideal candidate will also support our educators in maintaining anurturing and positive environment
for all children and families.Position Details
Hours:
6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (includes support duties during non-driving hours)Job Type:

Must hold a
valid Alberta Class 4 driver's license
Must possess avalid Level 1, 2, or 3 Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification
Clean driver's abstract
andclear criminal record check with vulnerable sector
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Previous experiencedriving children or working in a childcare/school setting
preferred Must bepunctual, dependable, and safety-focused
Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills
Bilingual inEnglish and Spanish
is an assetResponsibilities
Safely
transport children
to and from school and the daycare center each dayInspect and maintain
the vehicle daily to ensure it meets all safety and cleanliness standardsFollow all traffic laws and safety protocols
, ensuring children are securely seated and supervisedAssist children
in boarding and exiting the vehicle safely Maintainaccurate attendance and trip records
Communicate effectively with center staff and families regarding transportation schedules and concerns Support the daycare team during non-driving hours (e.g., helping educators, organizing, or light cleaning) Represent BrainiaX in aprofessional, friendly, and caring manner

Pay: $17.50-$28.50 per hour
