Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare and chop ingredients for meals, ensuring all items are prepped according to recipes and specifications. Assist in cooking and assembling dishes under the guidance of the head chef or kitchen manager. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and sanitation practices. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling and preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages or needs to management. Participate in daily cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques is essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for the culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.
