In your new role as our Day Porter, you will support the Environmental Services team daily with a variety of tasks that support events as well as day to day operations. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will always provide the highest quality of customer service, while maintaining the premises in a clean and orderly manner, including:

Cleaning offices, common areas, washrooms, halls, food service areas, and any other areas that may require attention Cleaning desks, ceilings and vents, walls, blinds, kitchenettes, microwaves, washrooms, furniture, windows, floors and carpets Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, polishing floors and replenishing supplies Emptying trash and garbage containers Lift and handling up to 40lbs Support Event Set Up as needed - tables, chairs as well as tear down after events


Qualifications

Qualifications



One year of experience preferred in previous EVS and Porter, Janitorial environments Preferred to have Building Service Worker certificate Ability to use tools and equipment and to perform the physical aspects of the job Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, willing to go beyond the basics Ability to work under supervision and follow standard procedures, and compliance with all health and safety standards Personal and professional integrity and demeanor Ability to complete a Venerable Sector Criminal Background Check
