We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our commercial facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment for employees, visitors, and clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on attention to detail and professionalism. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the overall upkeep of our property while working during daytime hours.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in common areas, restrooms, and entryways Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Assist with light facilities maintenance such as changing light bulbs or reporting larger repair needs to management Ensure restrooms are stocked with supplies and sanitized regularly Monitor outdoor areas for debris or safety concerns and report issues promptly Support overall facility upkeep to uphold a professional and welcoming environment

Qualifications

Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good communication skills and a professional demeanor Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and reaching as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
