Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance, demonstrating a strong commitment to cleanliness and organization.

Duties

Clean and maintain designated areas of the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and entryways. Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management. Restock supplies such as paper products and soap in restrooms and kitchens. Maintain outdoor areas by picking up litter and ensuring walkways are clear. Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to keep the facility in good condition. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communication skills to interact with staff and management effectively. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
